Longtime VOTS member, Madeline LiVolsi died the afternoon of January 21st after a prolonged hospitalization.

Madeline was a dedicated member of our organization serving on our governing Board as Chapter Secretary and as correspondant to the ATOS national publication, Theatre Organ magazine. Originally from New Jersey, Madeline came to Phoenix to pursue her career.  A life-long educator, Madeline was an elementary school teacher in the Valley.  Her love of the theatre organ and its community was second to none and she could count most of the world's best theatre organists as her friends.

Madeline suffered from asthma which, in recent years, became increasingly serious, and in combination with other health issues, required increaslingly more frequent and lengthy hospitalizations.  Last October, she resigned from her position of Chapter Secretary due to her failing health. In keeping with her dedicatory spirit, she expressed a desired to participate and contribute to the organization as her health permitted and asked to be kept apprised of issues facing the chapter.  Her presence at our meetings and events will be missed.

Godspeed, Madeline.
